Guidelines for Submission  

of

Papers 

 

I. Papers/Panels: 

We invite papers and panels on discourses of gender based on the themes and sub-themes listed

 

Guidelines:

An abstract of 250 -300 words with keywords to be mailed along with the complete paper

 

Format for Submission of Papers:
 
  • Word Document, A4

  • Minimum 3,500 words

  • Maximum: 6 pages

  • (Inclusive of footnotes, bibliography, Diagrams and Appendices)

  • Line Spacing: 1.5

  • Times New Roman

  • Stylesheet: APA, 6th Edition

 

Guidelines for Submission of Proposals for Panels:
  • Minimum 3 members; Maximum: 5

  • 20-30 mins for each panel discussion including interaction with audience

  • Each panel should focus on a discourse/narrative of gender in an interactive manner and facilitate discussions with the audience

  • One of the panellists is encouraged to act as moderator

  • Panels can consist of academicians, research scholars, performers, activists and students

  •  A proposal of 500-600 words to be mailed with complete details of the panellists including name, designation, area of research and publications.

Communication regarding acceptance: 20 Dec '15

 

Last date for registration: 25 Dec '15

 

Submission of revised papers: 31 Dec '15

 

Submission of PPT presentation: 5 Jan '16

 

National Participants

Submission of first draft of paper with abstract: 15 Dec '15

 

Communication regarding acceptance: 20 Dec '15

 

Last date for registration: 25 Dec '15

 

Submission of revised papers: 31 Dec '15

 

Submission of PPT presentation: 5 Jan '16

 

II. Presentations in Absentia: 
 

General guidelines for submission same as listed above for papers.

 

  • Participants are requested to send their powerpoint presentations with voice recording

  • Submissions on or before 31 Oct 2015

  • E-Certificates will be given to presenters

Note: Additional 500INR applicable for presenters whose papers are selected for publication and 250 INR per page if paper exceeds               stipulated limit of 6 pages

-Faculty Members & Academicians: 250 USD

 

-Students and Research Scholars: 150 USD

 

-Presenters on In Absentia: 150 USD

 

Note: Additional 15 USD applicable for presenters whose papers are selected for publication and 15 USD per page if paper exceeds                   stipulated limit of 6 pages

 

Panels (Consolidated Amount inclusive of all Panellists)

 

-International: 500 USD

-National: 7,500 INR

-Registration amount is non-refundable. In case of cancellations due to contingencies, arrangements will be made for papers to   be presented and certificates given in absentia

 

-Spot Registrations are open for non-presenters up to 2 PM on 12 Jan 2015.
